• Question: have you ever made an invention? if so what? and if you haven't what would you invent?

      Hi alishac!

      I haven’t invented anything… and I’m not sure what I would invent. (Maybe because if I knew, I would have invented it haha).

      Maybe… a teleporter – now would be great!

      One part of my work is trying to invent a new device to take stem cells from bone marrow and put them back into people. We are using a electronic engineering and some really small tubes to try and grab stem cells as they pass through the tubes. The reason for this is that stem cells in bone marrow that make new bone are really really uncommon (about 0.01% of all bone marrow cells) so we need to find new ways to get as many of these cells as we can before we put them back into the patient.

      So I’ve not invented anything as yet, but we are working on it.

      I haven’t invented anything and I don’t have any decent ideas for an invention right now, sorry. If I did have a good idea, I wouldn’t tell you about it on here in case someone stole my idea :p
