Like every element it zinc is made of protons (30), neutrons (34 in the most common isotope) and electrons (30). Apparently zinc powder is mixed with sulphur powder as a fuel for model rockets, but I’m not really sure of too many other ways to make it blow up. I’m sure there are lots of ways, your chemistry teacher is bound to know some of them.
