Stem cells are made of the same things as normal cells, they have a cell membrane which is made of fatty acids with protein channels in the membrane to let molecules into and out of the cell. In the membrane there is the cytoplasm, this is made of the jelly-like cytosol and the organelles, which are the factories of the cell. There are a few organelles, the nucleus (which contains most of the cells DNA), the mitochondria, (which make energy), the endoplasmic reticulum (which makes proteins) and the golgi complex (which sends proteins where they need to go). As with most things in biology the cell is mostly made of fats, proteins, sugars and water.

I hope that answers your question!
