• Question: What is the most important cell in the body?

      All of the cells in your body are very important, you need lots of different types of cells to make up all your different organs. Stem cells are very important though as without them we would not be able to repair any damage and replace worn out cells.

      I guess if I had to choose I’d say cells in the brain. I think the brain might be the most important organ, so probably the cells in the brain are most important.

      Actually though, I think Tomasz is right that all cells are important and we can’t live easily with not all of the cells working properly.

      Hi elliott, as David and Tomasz say all the cells in the body are important for different things. But I guess the fertilised egg is the most important cell because it all starts from there.
