      Hi 10govierhannah,
      We use proteins a lot actually and providing these is probably the most important thing we do for our cells. The thing is we need a cell template so a starting embryonic stem cell or induced pluripotent stem cell which we can encourage (using proteins) to grow into the tissue/organ we want.
