My goal is to lead a happy fulfilling life, I enjoy what I do and I’d like to keep doing it for as long as it keeps interesting me (or we run out of funding). It would be great if my research could be used to help people who have illnesses or broken bones that mean their bones need to be rebuilt. But even if it’s not used for that then I still feel I will have contributed to furthering our understanding of the world, and that’s a pretty good feeling.

My goal at the moment is to finish my PhD and publish the results I find so other scientists can read it.
After that though… I don’t know, I will see where life takes me 🙂

      Hi jazminp,
I would like to be happy in my work and personal life as much as possible. It’s a pretty simple goal but not always achievable!

My answer’s basically the same as the others. My goal is just to enjoy my life. My job isn’t the most important part of that for me, although if I carry on enjoying working in science that would be fantastic. The most important part for me is the hope that I can keep in touch with old friends and see them regularly and earn enough money that I can live quite comfortably and go traveling occasionally.
