  I do, in fact I have 3 children. They’re a bit young to be interested in science at the moment (they’re 5, 4 and 1) but my eldest is starting to become interested in the world around her, which I guess is what being a scientist is all about. If they choose to do science as a career then I’d be really pleased, but I’d be equally happy if they found something they enjoy that is totally unrelated to science, like art and design.
