Estimates of cell number are difficult, but I think there are about 30 trillion cells in the average person, and a teenager won’t be too far off that, so maybe 20 trillion?

The cells are used for everything, they make everything in your body, your blood is cells in a liquid, your bones are made by cells, your brain is made of cells. Every organ is made of cells and those cells all have specialist jobs which allow the organ to do the job it needs to do.

I hope that answers your question!
