• Question: if you could have a part of a animal fused onto you and it was the right size for a human. What animal would you choose? What part of it would you have? And why?

Oooh a tough question thanks gj12. I’ve been thinking for a bit now and it seems that a lot of animal parts that might be good are developed for fighting, killing or defence (horns, antlers, claws, etc) and I’m not someone who gets into fights, so I don’t really need those. Other things that might be useful would be things that adapt the animals for life in water or in the air (flippers and wings). I don’t swim a lot, so flippers and tails for swimming wouldn’t be that useful either. Wings would be good though. I think wings would be annoying to walk around with most of the time and wouldn’t fit inside my clothes easily. So, I’m going to choose a tail – probably a monkey tail. I don’t really have much of a reason except that I think it would be fun to have a tail.

I don’t think I’d have part of an animal fused on to me, but I’d like to have part of an animals genome put into mine, specifically the salamander. This is because the salamander can regrow limbs that are lost and there has to be some genes that control this regeneration. So I’d like the genes from a salamander that allow it regenerate itself, that way if I ever got hurt I’d just be able to heal myself, kind of like Wolverine in the X-Men.
