• Question: In the spirit of Christmas, could we make reindeer fly?

      Ahh nice question. I’m looking forward to Christmas.

      Well, as everybody knows, believing in Father Christmas allows his reindeer to fly, so we’ve just got to keep doing that.

      I don’t know of any other way to do this really.

      I think it’s unlikely, there are some things you could do, but they are all horribly unethical and bad for the reindeer! For example small rockets, kind of like a jet pack could work. You could also use quantum levitation, although I think that uses liquid helium to work, which is about -270C and that would definitely be bad news for Rudolph!
