• Question: what would you do with the money ?

      My local primary school does some great things to make school memorable for the children, but not much of this is based in science. I would like to donate the money to them so they put on more science themed events and hopefully work with them in planning these.

      I don’t have an exact plan set up, but one thing I might do is with a group in Southampton called LifeLab. They have just recently built a brand new lab in the hospital and they invite classes from local schools to come in to do some experiments and to talk to some scientists. I am planning to do more with LifeLab anyway including a “Meet The Scientist” event where I will chat with a few kids about what I do and they can ask anything they want. I expect they could make good use of the money and I’d enjoy planning ways to spend the money with them.
